Ooooh crap, it's going up? Darn, I have no ideas right now, and the one fic I was writing for way-back-when didn't turn out too well.

Had made my schedule account for the contest to be delayed until, say, next autumn. Not, well, right now. Suppose I'll just have to wait and see whether or not I get something done, then.

True enough, I've used this before seems to be reliable. I figured something external would be best so even non forum members can vote.

Whatever you think is best. I don't think it matters that much what the voting platform will be, as long as it works.

So anybody have a good suggestion for a poll system, the one built into the forum is limited and every time an entry is changed it resets the votes., need something i can update, that said theoretically i shouldn't have to change it after entry deadline... Since I'm so unreliable.. If I don't make an official post about it once details are final here, I'll call it off and hand it over to somebody else who will get it done.

Finale date for entry let's say May 20th gives plenty of time which admitted due to my failure there's been lots of.

voting will close on June 10th and winner will be announced soon after.

I will create a poll that will be updated as entries are received, voters will be able to change their vote at anytime.

As we've been unable to nail down a firm definition on art, let's say "Fan Material" and work from there if something seems to far out of line a judgment can be made at that time.

If anyone has better suggestions for dates do speak up. if everyone is fine with this otherwise, I'll place an entry on the news feed on the weekend.

Sorry all. What can I say life gets in the way. I always wondered what kept Chad so busy, it seems I've joined that group. I do indeed have lovely sealed copy of the book Tiberian sent me for the contest. My repeated failure to do anything with this is unfair to the community and Tiberian.

My apologies is all I can offer on that matter.
I want to make this right.

I already gave Scott Irving the prize for the contest, but I can supply the contest with another one if needed.

I can then be the judge and jury and send the prize to the author of the piece of art that I think was best.
