Man, this sounds really exciting. Thanks for working hard to keep the forum updated krulle!

the Patreon for UQM2 is up

by krulle » Fri Jul 01, 2022 8:33 am

Hey all!

The patreon is up!

basically, development is ongoing, and if you want more glimpses, please support, as this will be their income until the game gets on sale quite a while from now.
On the actual patreon page, Dan published a video which shows more than the streams so far, graphics wise.
Have a glimpse yourself! https://www.patreon.com/posts/chmmr-art-demo-68486324

I'm not using Discord, so I'll miss the *party* anyway, and I'm seldom checking reddit.

I've gotta find time in my busy summer to check this out...

UQM2 development tools published

I presume the lore is being worked hard on, but won't be hinted at.
As that will be the selling point.

The melee is for the fans.

by Alvarin » Sat May 14, 2022 9:35 am

Obviously the melee is huge part of the game, but I'd like some news about the lore and such.
Patreon is a good thing, but I do not believe crowdfunding can be avoided later on.

Also a patreon will be set up. (see newspost)

Twitch developer's stream: "best of"

by krulle » Wed Apr 13, 2022 7:51 pm

The nearly weekly streams are only sparsely interesting for the non-developers, but they made a highlights video:
stream highlights, 25/feb/'22-08/apr/'22 wrote:Some day I won’t procrastinate so much, but I keep putting it off. Here are the stream highlights from the past – counts fingers – 7 weeks! Crikey. Well, as they say in showbiz: leave them waiting more. Or was it wanting more? I don’t remember. I’ve been putting off improving my memory too. Speaking of memories, here are some short to long highlights of my favorite bits from the streams!
Since some of the streams originally are more than 3 hours each, it is nice they collected the best bits in this post.

This is great stuff, thank for posting it. And (if he sees this) big congrats to Dczanik!

Pistolshrimp games

Yeah, what wass known and repeated in all these announcements is, that FF and PR apparently left TFB management alltogether, and not just "temporarily for a private project".

But on the page "UQM", there's a photo of FF and PR3 stating "After 30 years, our last day at Toys for Bob. (2021)", which seems like they left TFB altogether and for good.

Which is big news for us SC/UQM fans.

Amazing news, thanks, Krulle!
