Depending on your interpretation, ZEXy Beast could refer to a VUX.

Re: Aliens from Precursor Time

It is also possible that the Sa-Matra was utilized for civil conflicts. That is, the Precursors may have not had any enemies beyond themselves. But zut, the cliché motif of a powerful empire being its own downfall is probably far beneath Star Control. Moreover, there is no indication that the Precur...

Re: Surviving Androsynth

This is a little tangential, but couldn’t the Androsynth just use the same techniques that were employed to create them to make more of themselves? They can not reproduce in a traditional sense, but can’t they clone each other?

Re: Surviving Androsynth

That is one strange hypothesis Nuclear. However I would say there is merit to it, as the Arilou suggest that genetics play a large role in being *smelled*. Thus, one could legitimately theorize that a race of more or less genetically identical individuals would be more easily detected. </boring rant...

Re: Surviving Androsynth

That is a valid point, but I hold a more shallow view of *smelling* in that I believe it is on the basis of one’s knowledge of other dimensions. For all humans were not targeted after Bukowski’s actions, as he was the only one who learned too much. Beyond that, if all Androsynth were taken away, why...

Surviving Androsynth

I am sure someone has already discussed this, but to be crass and inattentive, I will post this regardless. Since Ur-Quan Dreadnoughts employ individuals of the slave nations, is it not reasonable to assume there were many Androsynth (or Androsynths, I don’t know, this plural vexes me) aboard Dreadn...
