Re: Project6014 demo release

Running the Windows version here, and I'm noticing that I am unable to get my joystick to work in the configuration menu. Just double checked and I'm still using UQM 0.6.2 and it doesn't seem to be suffering like this. I don't know what the current version of UQM is now and am not sure if it has the...

Re: Star Control Tarot set

I can't offer much, seeing as how I haven't really studied Tarot very closely. But using the interpretations provided I can kind of envision a few of these. 8p: Boy hard at work, typically making one of the pentacles. That unpaid internship I was talking about. Learning, but not getting anything els...

Re: Star Control 1+2 plot holes

It seems like something might have happened, but considering how little attention the Supox got during the creation process, I can't say I'm surprised. The reason that the Chmmr were able to answer through the slave shield at all is because the Chenjesu were/are naturally sensitive to Hyperwave broa...

Re: The YouTube Thread

Have some astonishingly epic music from an astonishingly epic mashup flash series. Ah, I'm glad to see that particular track still gets circulation around the internets. The first time I encountered it was Rockman Neo , a short video uploaded to Newgrounds. In order to conform to this thread, here ...

Re: Post your command centres

I don't think this post is called: "boast about your desktop". I'm merely interested in what sort of environment you are spending your days and nights in. The "computer spot" is something highly personal to most people. Your wife may have control over everything else, but after that incident where ...

Re: Tweaks and changes to the new forum

That doesn't seem to be working. Aha, second thing that I didn't notice was needed, you have to add this to the HEAD section of the page's HTML <link rel="icon" href="/community/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" /> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="/community/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" /> This i...

Re: Tweaks and changes to the new forum

If that icon is meant to be the favicon for this forum, that would be accomplished simply by uploading it to the "community" folder of the site. Thus the URL would be http://star-control.com/community/favicon.ico

Re: {Un}Motivational posters!

Freddy, Logan, your claws are optional. Quit being morons.

Once again, Edward, you're screwed. But isn't that always the way with you?

Not strictly in the demotivator format, but...

Re: What do you think the New Alliance did with the Ur-quan?

The Syreen were given something no one else was able to find them, a home. So while they may not have been happy with the idea of being enslaved, at least they didn't have to live in space ships any more. They were content enough with the Ur-Quan's rule to not want to rock the boat and risk annihila...

Wow, that sounds familiar. :(
