Well done. Meanwhile, I split this topic, making myself useless.

In the meantime, we've all forgotten that it's 25 years since the release of SC2. I gotta admit, it's been a long, fun ride. I forget when I first joined (I think around 1998?) but we had counters for the 10th anniversary of SC1 and SC2, Paul Reiche and Fred Ford were involved with the community. Alas, time marches on. The games we loved are now in our past, along with childhood and youth. We will cherish them dearly, but it's been a solid 13 years since I last touched SC2. The 90s were the best decade for desktop computer gaming.

Hmm. I don't see the actual date, but according to wikipedia, it was released in November, so we have some time yet. Personally, I associate it with 1993 since that was when I first played it.

We should have a grand party. Since I came to the Netherlands last time, Fishy has to come to Boston this time.

I think someone should write Fred & Paul about the actual date :). And let the party be at TFB?

Don't forget the Frungy equipment. Can't have Star Control without Frungy.

So...any idea if a potential migration is coming soon? Because I don't want to be the one guy who doesn't get the memo and gets left behind. (I would prefer if we stay...this is where I keep my corn!)

If you read the topic "SCDB day-to-day upkeep" in General Discussion, it will explain how everything unfolded. Afterwards, Lukipela split the topic to separate the real content from the "Purchase My Poop" topic.

Long ago I declared I'd be the one to turn off the lights. That still stands.
