upload of the OLD SC2 version here >

Post by Ultron » Thu Nov 18, 2010 3:19 pm

Greetings fellows Hunams,
As I was mentioning in my older posts, I finally managed to get the original old DOS game on 256kB floppies into modern world. :D
Don´t ask, what was needed ... I finally built a whole old DOS computer from scratch.
Now I would like to ask for some help - how can these old DOS files be started ?
And if so, how can we slow down our petabyte, terahertz computers to play this game ?

ooops ... filesize too big for upload ... just 15kB above limit ... :(

I put it on one of my sites, just download it here:

Have fun ^^

DOSBox is your best bet. I think it sort of ran under Windows XP - I remember the sound being slow and crackly and the menus took ages to register button presses but otherwise it could be played.
