Was there an official full-body Ur-Quan picture ever made?

No official ones afaik, but they were modeled after this species of caterpillar:

So that's apparently what they look like (although some references to their size make them shorter and thicker, but I usually just disregard that piece of information)

I think there was a full picture of an Ur-Quan chasing a Spathi in the StarControl 1 Manuel. I think there is also a few good Ur-Quan drawings on that "Zex's wall" place, I'll need to find a link....

EDIT: Oh dare I post this link, http://www.ashido.com/sc2/ , 99.8 percent of all pictures on that site are just adorable pictures of ZEX, DAX {?} and maybe a few Utwig/Supox...

EDIT1: And after a bit of searching on that site, heres the Picture I was thinking of...

Thanks, Nuclear. When I was younger I always thought that the Ur-Quan had their whole body shown in the converse pics (a huge alien face with 4 tentacles). I never really pictured them so insectlike, until I looked up in the dictionary and saw what caterpillar means (I'm Greek, therefore English is not my native language).

Your welcome, and yeah, Ur-Quan are mentioned as "Caterpillar like" several times in both the games and the Manuel. My only questions is, can they metamorph into a butterfly/moth? That would be awesome...

That sounds perfect for a stereotypical boss fight. "Behold, my true form! Cower before me!"

On topic, I've never seen an official picture of a Quan hiney. Don't think it exists.

I think you're right, I've looked for an official piccy quite hard but never found one. The two* I used for reference are:

*Sorry, I can't find the other one. I'll have to find it later.

This one (Kohr-Ah) is also great:

Once again someone who interpreted them as caterpillars with an elongated worm like body (which gives it a better look than the one with the 'canon size', I think)

That is some awesome creepy lighting going on in that Kohr-Ah painting.
