The Ur-Quan Masters MegaMod v0.8.3 is now live!

Yet Another New release!
THE PROCESS IS INCOMPLETE, YET WE HAVE EMERGED

Here's some of my favorites changes:

* The ability to change graphics and music options without restarting!
* Advanced Auto-Pilot which can traverse the shortest past through QuasiSpace!
* An option to resume all music where it last left off, instead of repeating from the beginning for every instance
* SC1-Styled ship info screens when using PC slides for cutscenes, orchestrated by Kruzen
* Switch between DOS, 3DO, and UQM "Platform UI" (Making MegaMod look like those respective versions)
* A plethora of HD changes made by Kruzen to be more faithful to their SD counterparts
* Even more font work! All the UI fonts have been overhauled and some new fonts for the Ilwrath, Spathi, and Ur-Quan

I haven't gotten around to trying this yet but from what I'm reading this is intense. Nice stuff!

The latest edition of enhancements to the MegaMod include ambient space themes for each race while in their territory, brought to you by Volasaurus : https://streamable.com/btx1y

I had a fun time implementing this and hearing it in action with his ambient remixes is something else.

Here's a couple of other new things:

HD 3DO Icon Menu               EDIT: And for good measure the original 3DO icon menu

HD Melee Menu (Marauder recolored and rescaled, Dreadnought rescaled, new Umgah variant by Nackles42, and a new Cruiser variant ripped from the SC1 ship info art)

Added "Music Options" to the setup menu (Thanks to Volasaurus)

The reason for the new menu: Volasaurus composed remixes for everything, including alternate tracks for Pre/Post-Process Chmmr, Fwiffo, Safe Ones, Spathi ships, Pre/Post-Ultron Utwig, Ur-Quan Probe, Yehat Rebels, and Pre/Post radioactives Commander.

It's a bug I forgot about since MegaMod 0.7.3 or so.
It's been removed for 0.8.0.82.
